The Montour County Conservation District works with county residents to implement various projects with the goal of reducing nutrient in local streams and waterways and reducing erosion.

Agriculture Projects

The Montour County Conservation District works with local farmers to install fencing projects, barnyards, and implement additional BMPs where needed throughout the county.

Stream Projects

The Montour County Conservation District works with PA Fish and Boat, NPC, and DEP to install fish habitat structures in streams.

Wetland Projects

The Montour County Conservation District works with US Fish and Wildlife to install wetland structures throughout the county.
